Programs
White Kitty Foundation, Wednesday, Sept. 7, 2016
Cris and Bob Tarozzi of the White Kitty Foundation will present their program to the Volunteer Exchange Program on Wednesday, September 7 at 10:30 A.M. in the Fireside Room at the Gateway Clubhouse.
The non-profit organization was founded in Walnut Creek, California in 2007 by Cris Tarozzi, whose passion and long history of caring for pets led her to establishing the WKF.
The WKF provides adoption assistance to pet owners who can no longer care for their pets, regardless of the breed, age or condition of the pet; aids the elderly in planning for the care and guardianship of their pets when they are no longer able to provide for such care; helps rescue, heal and shelter abandoned pets until permanent homes can be found for them; works with other local community-based animal rights groups through coordinated fund-raisers, adoption efforts and community education.
*****************************
The VEP exists to help Rossmoor residents help each other. Members provide services for other members and earn credits for doing so. In turn, they can use their earned credits to obtain services from other members. It is not an emergency service and is not available to nonmembers.
Refreshments will be provided.
